How to Withdraw / Disqualify - eLapsRaceTiming - 25-Aug-2014 01:41 PM

Withdrawing entries
Withdrawing an entry is used to keep an entry entered in the event, but exclude the entry's race results from the overall point or qualifying scores. To withdraw an entrant, right click on the entrant row in the Grid Listing area and choose Withdraw from the pop up menu.

Withdrawn entries have a 'W' icon displayed, and their name is struck out in the Grid List area.

To re-enter a withdrawn entry, right click on the withdrawn entrant row in the Grid Listing area, and choose Re-Enter from the pop up menu.

NOTE: Withdrawing / re-entering an entry will automatically re-calculate the overall point score or qualifying positions.

Disqualifying entries
Disqualifying an entry is used to keep an entry entered in the event, but exclude the entry's race results from the overall point or qualifying scores. To disqualify an entrant, right click on the entrant row in the Grid Listing area and choose Penalise Entry... from the pop up menu.

Withdrawing entries and Disqualifying entries have been separated in order to differentiate when an entrant needs to withdraw from the event through no fault of their own. As opposed to an entrant that has been disqualified from the event as the result of a penalty.

Disqualified entries have a 'D' icon displayed, and their name is struck out in the Grid List area.

To re-enter a disqualified entry, navigate to the Race Entry page (3rd Menu from the top) and click the Penalties tab. Right click on the relevant Penalty row, and click Rollback Penalty from the pop up menu.

NOTE: Disqualifying and entrant / rolling back a disqualify penalty will automatically re-calculate the overall point score or qualifying positions.
