Validating an Entry
Here an entry can be set as VALID e.g. they have paid their entry fee. Click on the box in the Tools column and a green tick mark will appear. Click the green tick mark to remove it. A green tick indicates the entrant is valid, and an empty box indicates the entrant is not valid.

Validated entries are displayed in the public event entrant list with a "$" image next to their row, as shown below.

NOTE: Entrants who choose to pay their entry fee online will be automatically marked as valid.

Change the entry details as required, and click Save.
Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).

Sending email to Entrants
This feature allows you to send emails to your event entrants. To view a list of entries for a given event, click on the My Events menu and then click the 'Ent.' column number. There are four pre-defined lists of entrants that you can open at the click of a button; Waiting List entrants, All entrants, Valid entrants, and Non Valid entrants.

Clicking the All, Valid and Non Valid pre-defined lists will open the Email Entries form.

Here you can edit the email address list, subject and body as shown above. You can add extra email addresses as required - email addresses must be spaced with a comma.

Clicking the Preview button will display an example of what your email will look like.

Clicking the Waiting List pre-defined list will open the Entry Waiting List form.
For more information on this feature see this How to Send Waiting List Invites guide.

Downloading Entry Records
On the My Events screen, a green arrow will appear (in the Tools column) for an event once entry records exist for the event. When you click the green arrow, depending upon your how many copies of e-Laps you purchased, you may be asked to select which computer you are downloading the entries for; the Master PC, or the Slave PC.

The 'Choose Destination' pop up occurs because an event's download records are encrypted for use by your club only. For further privacy / security, the download records are encrypted for use only on the computer (Master or Slave) you choose.

If you only purchased one copy of e-Laps and do not use a Slave PC, you will not be asked to choose which computer you are downloading the entry records for. The entry records are still encrypted for use on your Club's computer only.

You can also choose if you want to download either ALL, or only VALIDATED entries.

Further information on how to use the downloaded entry records can be found in the How To Upload Live Results thread.
