			<title><![CDATA[How To Use Custom Sounds]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[This functionality provides the ability to save Custom Sounds for use in the following situations:<br />
<ul>
<li>Custom 'Beep Sound' when cars cross the timing loop</li>
<li>Custom sounds when a race starts or finishes</li>
<li>Custom sounds the play periodically throughout a race<br />
</li></ul>
<br />
Configuring custom sounds is carried out on the Race Setup page (2nd Menu item).<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Configure a Custom Beep Sound</span><br />
Click the Sounds / Announcements tab, and then choose Custom option from the Beep Sound drop down list.<br />

This then displays the Browse button, which can be used to select the desired .WAV sound file.<br />

Once a .WAV sound file is selected, the file can be tested by clicking the small 'play' button next to the drop down list.<br />

Click the Sounds / Announcements tab, and then click the Add button below the Custom Sounds list.<br />

A File Open form will open which can be used to select the desired .WAV sound file.<br />
Once a .WAV sound file is selected, click the Save button to add the sound file to the Custom Sounds list.<br />

The sound file can be tested by selecting the file in the list, and then clicking the small 'play' button above the list. Clicking the small Stop button will stop the sound file from playing.<br />

Choose the custom sound file for a start or stop action by selecting the file name (prefixed by "[CS]" in the list) in the drop down lists as required.<br />

In the above screenshot example, the Grid Start Sound is now configured to use the Custom Sound file. When a Grid start race starts, it will play the Custom Sound file.<br />

Click the Sounds / Announcements tab, and then select the Custom Sound file name (prefixed by "[CS]" in the list) in the "EXTRA Sound" drop down list.<br />

Then, in the Periodic Announcement drop down list, choose the "EXTRA Sound [W,R]" list option.<br />

Then configure the remaining announcement variables to set the sound to play at the desired race time period. e.g. play the custom sound every 5 minutes<br />
